Vintage ZOLLER & BORN Beer Stein with ZINN Lid ~ WESTERN Germany - 9.25" x 4" - EXCELLENT!

Hand Painted Relief image of Marienplatz Munchen (Munich), Bavaria Germany. Marienplatz has been the main square in Munich since 1158 AD, although it was not officially named Marienplatz until 1854. It has quite a storied history dating back to the Middle Ages. The Rathaus-Glockenspeil in the tower of the new city hall is a tourist attraction clock in Marienplatz. It was inspired by the tournaments that were held in the square during the Middle Ages and draws millions of tourists a year. This truly beautiful vintage beer stein pays tribute to this remarkable venue.

The beer stein is in wonderful condition! Stands 9.25" high and is 4" across at the base.

Capacity to the brim: Approx .75 Litre (27 fl oz).

Markings on the bottom denote WESTERN GERMANY (made before 1990) along with the Zoller & Born logo and the number 1 with two hash marks. It has a pewter ZINN lid in perfect working order. The design and raised images are colorful and vibrant and nearly perfect with only a tiny spec of wear showing for all these years. (See photos)
